She’s telling me how everything is going against me, telling me I dont have problems, no one loves me and that I will never succeed.  she   (2013) She was looking at the mirror obsessively, she was having sex to feel loved. she was counting calories all day, she was purging just to feel pure  and she was starving herself to death because she was insecure. she was cutting herself and bleed to make the pain go away. but she wasn't crazy, I'm not crazy!

I am water, adjuster, shapeshifter. Quiet but fierce, though fluid and whole. No past, nor future While God is the wind. The question “Who am I?” stayed with me for years after I lost my memory in 2019. In the poem, I compare myself to water — ever-changing, without memory of the past or expectation of the future. But in the video, the power dynamics are different. Technology, unlike water, does not adapt. It breaks. The computer I smash is my memory — unrecoverable. Yet I, like water, can transform. I can change, shift, and create new memories. Because I am water. And God is the wind.

Twin ballerinas go round and round in the darkness forever. In the video, the artist May Chen created a live-sized ballerina’s music box which reflects a memory. They and we will dance together, the dance that never ends of those whose stories still echo. Shuffling together the past and the future tells the story of the ballerina Franceska Mann's brave act of resistance and makes it eternal. Franceska Mann was a beautiful and exceptionally talented dancer, pirouetting her way through many prestigious shows and competitions, including the Brussels International Dance Competition of May 1939 where she won fourth prize. She danced regularly in Warsaw's Melody Palace nightclub before the outbreak of the Second World War and her career-shattering imprisonment in the Warsaw Ghetto.
